Susanne Schmidt

Susanne Schmidt is a PhD student at the Human-Computer Interaction Group of the Department of Informatics at the University of Hamburg. She finished her master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Ilmenau in April 2014 and became research associate at the University of Hamburg in August of the same year.

Her current projects are focused on Spatial Augmented Reality (SAR), sometimes also referred to as Projection Mapping. In SAR setups, virtual content is projected directly onto real-world objects instead of using additional devices like head mounted displays. In this context, natural interaction and presentation techniques are developed and evaluated.
