Mimics is a multiplayer party team game. The objective is to imitate various faces, masks and forms to achieve maximum amusement. Selfie photographs are made of one player. Then a team member must guess which fanciful illustration (or even color blotch) matches the photograph.

The basic idea of Mimics evolved during an eight-hour game jam. The jam was joined by seven illustrators who added the humorous, in some cases absurd, models.

Unconscious communication via mimic is a uniquely human characteristic. This makes you “experts” in recognizing emotions in the slightest changes of facial expression. Mimics offers a perfect opportunity to test this capability.
