How do we access games? Why do we almost always play games sitting down? How can those who play transform themselves into controllers? What about game accessibility?
The first day of the PLAY Conference focuses on these and other related questions. Under the title „The Players‘ Bodies“ themes that deal with the body sitting in front of the display will be discussed. That is to say, we will be discussing the body of the game player. Our speakers, at home in various disciplines (Game Design, Media Pedagogy, and Research) will provide us with a multi-perspective view of the issues involved.
