Goku I & II
Janis Vernier, Germany (2014 – 15)
The GOKU Games are classical Point’n’Click Adventures with the twist of the player being stuck in a looping daily routine. Captured on an island and later, a harbor-city of the 17th century in Japan, he has to try to break free of the circle. This, of course, needs clever manipulation of his surroundings and with it, some moral desicions. Woodcut art of the edo-area and music of componist David Baaß, deliver a framework of a calm experience.
