Artistic Direction // Program Direction for Workshops

Vera Marie Rodewald is a media pedagog in Hamburg. She is also a research assistant for media education at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg and lecturer at the Leibniz University in Hannover. Furthermore, she is editor in chief at Mediennetz Hamburg e. V. (an online magazine and network for media education) and board member of jaf e. V. – Verein für medienpädagogische Praxis Hamburg.

In cooperation with the Initiative Creative Gaming e. V. she is involved in the concept and realization of projects and further education for adolescents, parents, pedagogs and teachers. Since 2016, she is a speaker for the GMK-Landesgruppe (Gesellschaft für Medienpädagogik und Kommunikationskultur) in Hamburg.

She has a lot of favourite games, as for instance “Life is Strange”, “Mario Kart 8″ and “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”.
