Alistair Aitcheson is a UK-based indie developer making games and installations about physical contact, communication and creative cheating. His work has involved dressing people up in costume to become human game controllers, and included Tap Happy Sabotage, a party game for up to 52 people on one giant touchscreen. His games have been award-nominated at festivals including IndieCade, A MAZE Berlin and EGX, and have been installed in museums in Germany and the UK.

Aljoscha Jelinek is an oldschool author. First, he successfully wrote short stories. Afterwards he made a short trip into the field of video games and worked on the dialog in the adventure “The Night of the Rabbit”. Currently he is writing graphic novels and works as a freelance teacher and editor in Hamburg.

Amelie Künzler, born in 1988 in a village between Bremen and Hannover, started designing her own projects and objects in the age of 16. Since studying this in her Master, she is hooked. A few internships and freelance projects showed her the beauty of doing what one likes to do. Thus, she founded “Urban Invention” with Sandro in 2014. She is responsible for design and everything that can be touched.

As the initiator and spokesperson of the Initiative Creative Gaming, Andreas Hedrich has been pleading for the creative use of video games in education and to make digital gaming culture visible and come alive. He teaches media eduaction and active media relations at the Faculty of Education at the University of Hamburg. Furthermore, he is chairman for Mediennetz Hamburg e. V., member of jaf – Verein für medienpädagogische Praxis Hamburg e. V., speaker of GMK-Landesgruppe Hamburg and associate of Frische Medien. As media pedagog and media producer it is important for him to be responsible for projects that highlight the creative use of media and their ability to be used by everybody as a medium for communication.

If asked what his favorite game is, he answers “Riding a bicycle in my head”.

Andreas Rauscher, born in 1973 is professor in proxy for media science focussing on film science and game studies at the Christian Albrechts-university in Kiel. Since 2015, he is an academic counselor for media esthetics at the university Siegen, from 2008 to 2014 he was research assistant for film science and media drama at the Johannes-Gutenberg university in Mainz. As a freelance journalist (Testcard, epd Film, Splatting Image, Musikexpress) and scientific curator for the Deutsches Filmmuseum in Frankfurt (exhibition film & games in 2015) he connects the world of films with the one of games and with his work he emphasizes the interaction between these media.

Ann-Kristin Mayr is singer, performing artist and puppet artist. She has a Master degree in Music and is now studying puppet theater. As a solo soprano singer she sings with the UdK Big Band, produced music for radio plays and dealt with improvisation methods of new music.
