The excursion on Thursday visits Daedalic, a game developer from Hamburg. With Deponia and many other games from different genres they are successful worldwide.

Afterwards, we will visit the Games Master lab of the University of Applied Science, where students illustrate, program and work in a creative environment to become tomorrow’s (and today’s) game designer.

Meeting place is at 13:30pm at the Festival HQ at the Kunsthaus Hamburg.

As the number of participats is limited, prior registration is required.

How do indie developers work and what does a TV channel look like that streams in the internet? On Friday, the excursion visits Rocketbeans TV and the indie developers from Osmotic, who are hugely successful with their first game Orwell..
